I’m Cameron Wilson, a St. Louis-based singer-songwriter with a lifelong connection to music and performance.

I started singing when I was eight years old, and over the years, music became much more than something I enjoyed. It became one of the clearest ways I could express the things that are sometimes difficult to put into ordinary words.

My songwriting is deeply personal and rooted in real life. I write about growing up, relationships, family, resilience, identity, ambition, heartbreak, healing, and the experiences that shape us long after they happen. Some songs come from difficult chapters of my life, while others come from love, memories, reckless nights, hope, and the moments that make life worth remembering.

My Sound

Musically, I live somewhere between indie folk, Americana, alternative, and modern singer-songwriter music.

I’m drawn to organic instrumentation, acoustic guitar, piano, harmonica, live drums, layered vocals, and arrangements that can move from intimate and stripped back to big, emotional, full-band moments.

More than anything, I care about the song itself.

The lyrics should feel honest. The melody should stay with you. And the vocal should sound like someone actually means what they are singing.

Live Performance

Performing has been part of my life for more than 15 years, and the stage has always felt like home.

Whether I’m performing an intimate acoustic set or standing in front of a full band, I want the audience to feel connected to what is happening in the room. I believe the best live music is not just technically good. It makes people stop, listen, sing along, laugh, remember something, or feel something they were not expecting to feel.

What I’m Building

At this point in my life, I’m creating music more intentionally than ever.

I’m writing, recording, collaborating with musicians and producers, building a live band, and creating a catalog of original music that sounds and feels unmistakably like me.

I’m not trying to fit neatly into one box.

I just want to make honest music, tell great stories, and build something that people can genuinely connect with.

If a song makes somebody feel understood, reminds them of a part of their own life, or has them sing the words back to me from a crowd, then it did exactly what I hoped it would do.
